We Are To Say... Good Bye

18th of August 2008, it's today. and we've been working for project one world for almost 1 month and a half.

It's 18th of August and we are to finish our beloved project One World (OW), it's been 1 month full of fun, joy & achivments. Peoject One World & the work of the interns have almost reached its maximum.

During my stay in India/Baroda and especially in Gujarat Public School (GPS) i enjoyed several things & I Achieved Several things...

No body can imagine how this trip impressed me, and how those kind and sweet guys & gurls -Both Indians & interns- had an impact on me.

We are far about 5 days of the closing ceremony and the end of project one world, but which end & which closing?! the end of friendship among more than 16 country?!, the closing of a project which gave us -the interns and the GPS students- experience & happiness & long lasting relationships?! It's never to be the end, and never to be the closing... But the oppening of a new life full of impressive emotions and memories.

I've stayed in GPS for almost two months, were i joined multiple events & celebrations. Some were religious, and the other were national and local ceremonies, But at the end all were beyong my expectations.

The Religious Festival For Teachers (Guru purnima) on 5th of September

Not only the religious festivals... But as India has enriched History, we had another celebration in India for brothers and sisters which is called (RAKI), where every sister ties a brother with the RAKI.

And as i always say that i'm lucky, an Indian Girl tied me, and has chosen me to be her lifetime brother... But can you imagine who's that girl??? i think you are not sure, that girl is my best sister ever Abhilasha (ABHY) the GPS manager.

She did it, and tied me with the Raki, but not any RAKI... It's a silver RAKI which i will never take it off my hand INSHALLAH -GOD WILLING.

So... This is just a thing from several things i'vegained from India & the Indians & Project One World (POW), not only experience but amazing emotions and relations with person i'd say proudly that they are my friends and sisters.

It was one of the best moments in my life... The moment of tying me with the RAKI, where i felt that i've gained a new amazing sister fom India.

And to me... Abhy is not just a manager in the school am working for, and it's not only a sister who tied me with the RAKI just like what all Indians Do... But Abhy to me is a model, a model that should be learnt from, a model that should be followed in get some of her amazing talents and criteria.

Abhy is such an adorble sweet girl, accoring to er age she's young, But compared to her experience and powerful personality she's very old, she doesn't shout or order but she makes the one she talks to respect her because she deserves our respect and every body's respct.

Thank you Abhy for what you have done to me & or what you have done to te other interns, and for what you are doing to your children in order to raise up a new Indian generation can protect, develop & help India to be the best country.

Actually it's too hard to write everything about my internship in India in one article... But as much as i can i'am trying to show how amazed am i, how happy am i to be among those amazing people who are helpful &did their best in order to satisfy all the interns in our incredible India.

The Last ceremony we had in GPS i an extra ordinary fest. It's a celebration of a great thing, An amazing thing. Can you imagine what that thing is?!.... Can't you think about it for a while?!.... Try dude try.... MmmMmmmmmmM so you don know, let me tell you....

This Ceremony was the greatest ceremony in Indian History, it's the ceremony of india's independance day 15th of august in GPS... Andlet the pictures speak.... Long Live India ;)

The Gps Activities and POW Work is just non-stop work, full of energy and enthusiasm toward better and educated society

The Begining... Will Never End ;)

Finally.... It's The Time.

It's finally the time for work.... The time for project One World to announce it's exsistance at Gujarat Public School.

One World, One Target, One School... But Different Countries. it's actually what's happening now in GPS as peoject "one world" started it's first 2 sessions, its one target which is raising cultural awareness through different activities and presentations, it's one school as we are giving our presentations in one school which is GUJARAT PUBLIC SCHOOL (GPS)/Baroda/India. And logically it's different countries as there are alot of interns coming from different countries around the globe just for sending peace message & hopes for the future.

So... The Project has started and the passion & enthusiasm is actually filling the space.

16 interns are representing 9 countries, Full of information and cultural awareness... A target looking for the students awareness of the other cultures and other countries and other people, how do they live! how do they think! how do they deal with one another, It's a place connecting 9 cultures with the indian cultures and vise-versa, one place sending message to the whole world, and certainly to India... That co-existance can happen under one roof and that the Globe is just a thing... It's just ONE WORLD.

The gujarat public school students are such an awesome ones, they are full of energy, full of enthusiasm, and very passionate of knowing more about the world, and they really look for this and strive for getting it.

And sure with the help of the interns and their hard work all day & night just for the interest of those students, and also for their own interest of representing their countries the best way.

It Took hard times of preparations and in getting ready to the up-coming event (ONE WORLD), the interns have spent alot of time preparing their materials, getting more information about their culture, costumes & life.

The presentations have started, every country has been talking about it's culture, history, costumes... Everything related to their country and way of life.

Not just powerpoint presentations... But Project On-World interns are creating games & Movies and shows just to make the sessions not boring and to attract the students as much as possible.

And Even Dances.....

The Represantations of the 9 Countries were really amazing during the 1st two days, they showed alot of things about their countries... A brief introduction about every country was givin by them.

The delegation Of Taiwan...

The delegation Of China...

The delegation Of UK...

The Delegation Of Palestine...

The Delegation Of Poland...

So.... The Trip Is still on... Are You Excited?!... If Yes, so you have to wait for the coming events and pictures of project one world.
